Meet Amy! Client Spotlight

This little ball of fire is one of my favorite long time clients. She is a bundle of energy, positivity and an overall beautiful person inside and out. She has three just as special children that keep her busy between school, extracurriculars and church.  But no matter what life throws at her;  late nights with sick children, husband across the world on work or no family near by, this barre beauty makes it happen and makes her health a priority. She understands that Barre + Beyond is not a typical gym and  she doesn’t have to commit all the time. “Pay as you go” is an option and depending on her schedule, she comes when she can. When she is not at barre, she is at her local gym, or outside for a run. She does it all but fits Barre into her life to keep herself balanced and to challenge herself. She quickly achieved our 100 club member and close to 250 classes since we opened and I love when she does make it into the studio once, twice or even three times a week!

When did you first start coming to Barre + Beyond ( Mind Over Matter Method Barre Classes)?
October, 2013; While I was 7 Months Pregnant with my third child; 
What got you “hooked” on Mind Over Matter Method Classes?
The instructors are hands-down the best I have ever had; it is more of a class with your own personal trainer constantly adjusting you, pushing you, and offering an ever-changing workout class that is never predicable or easy. I love knowing that I can book a class on my phone app, including topnotch childcare, and I can expect to get an incredible full workout in.
Have you seen changes in your physique?
Aside from feeling toned and comfortable in my late thirties, post-babies, I am able to run and lift, hike and carry a 28lb toddler! Barre-strong, as Orlee calls it! 
How often do you take class?
2-3x a week
Have you ever taken a barre class before Barre + Beyond?

Do you have any goals set for yourself in class?
Someday I hope to complete all the strait-leg push-up and plank sets and without taking a break. Always to gain strength, increase flexibility and live an active lifestyle.
What would you tell someone that is hesitant to try a class?
Orlee’s Barre studio is indeed a superior fitness studie that will draw you in with warm and inspiring personalities. The classes will challenge you and show you just how strong you are, even when you are shaking. Rarely will we stay committed to our core fitness needs on our own; Barre makes sure that we focus on core stability and proper form so that we can gain strength without injury.
