For many, morning workout are just not an option or not preferred, which is why Mind Over Matter Studio Method is now bringing you evening classes 4 times a week, Monday through Thursday at 6PM. So here is a list of 5 reasons WE like to work out at night (or a list of 5 reasons you should join us at 6pm!)
#5 It takes time away from unhealthy evening activities.
We’ve all been there- after a long day it can be so easy to put your feet up, turn on the TV, and grab a bag of chips. By working out after work, you’re not only getting that daily sweat in, but you’re also preventing a whole slew of other potentially unhealthy activities that could be sabotaging your efforts! So put down that remote and nighttime snacks and grab your Toe Sox to meet us at the barre!
#4 You’ll have more energy to put into your workout.
If you’re not a morning person it can be rough just waking up for those early morning workout sessions, let alone being energetic during them. So set your daily routine to include an evening workout so you’re not just going through the motions and can really concentrate on getting the awesome burn each and every time!
#3 It relieves the stress from your day.
We strive to help you Be your better self in mind and body, but it can be hard to become your better self when you’re stressed. So after a long day at work, fitting in that evening workout can be a great way to help melt off the stress from your day, not only improving your fitness, but also improving your general well-being!

This goes hand in hand with #2- Since working out at night helps relieves stress and anxiety built up throughout the day, you will be much more relaxed and prone to a more restful night of sleep after working out at the end of the day! (Still try to finish working out a hour before bed time!)

Working out in the evening can actually make it easier to lose weight or build muscle! Why? Simply because if you’re not a morning person it can be easier to stick to your workout routine at night rather than having to set that alarm clock earlier and take the extra time before work. Fewer skipped workouts = quicker results. So set that routine and stick to it and you will see that long lean physique in no time!
