Love the Life You Live
Dear Barre Beauties,
It has been one full week in our NEW home in Valparaiso at 3907 Calumet Ave. It’s been a whirlwind of a week, starting with our two Barre Progressives, our first Glow in the Dark Interval, NEW class times and many new Barre Beauties! Thank you for a killer first week!
I just want you to know how much I appreciate all your support, your dedication and your love of Barre + Beyond. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you and appreciate each and every one of you. I want you to know that when you are not in class, we miss you. The summer schedule may take a bit to get used to, so I challenge you to take a moment tonight, tomorrow or this weekend to set your goals for the summer. We have 2.5 months to make a change for the better. Take your favorite summer cocktail and sit outside in the sunshine or beneath the starry sky and chat with a friend or partner, a pet or by yourself. Ask yourself these questions; What do you love about yourself? What is going well for you right now? What would you like to change? What do you want to accomplish? Personally? Professionally? Homelife? What changes do you need to make?
Just write down words. Single words. Nothing complicated. This will just get you analyzing your current situation.Next, I want you to put the positive words on one side of the page and the negative words on the other side of the page. With the positive words, say them out loud and cut them out and put them on your mirror. This way, every morning you can read them and tell yourself how great you are. For the negative words or the “problems” write down your solution. What do you need to change? What are your goals? These changes need to be detailed. Again, keep it simple.
Most of all, I want you to have fun. My biggest goal for myself is to have fun otherwise it is not worth it. Life is short. Enjoy every moment. Surround yourself with those who are a positive influence on your life. Love the life you live.
My husband already set out his goals and they are hanging in our bedroom, and I plan to work on my goals today and tomorrow. Come to class and I will share my findings during class this weekend. Come join me as I challenge myself to be better.
Sharing Barre Love,
Orlee
