January has flown by and we couldn’t be more excited to introduce you to M.O.M.s Healthy Heart Month taking place in the studio all February! Your very own boutique fitness studio, Mind Over Matter Studio is participating in Self Magazine’s Change of Heart Workout event (more information on this program and our events below!) and we can’t think of a better way to share M.O.M.s Love that by protecting the Hearts of Women everywhere!

Join Mind Over Matter Studio Method for our

Healthy Heart Month! Look for special classes every Saturday through February, and a fun and educational Healthy Heart Kickoff Fair on February 7th, from 11 am -1 pm. All our special classes are a part of the Change of Heart Workout program, and part of your registration cost will go towards the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Campaign!

M.O.M.s Healthy Heart Month will Kick off on February 7th with a M.O.M.s Interval Class (get the heart beating along with some of your favorite M.O.M.s Moves) followed by a FREE Healthy Heart fair from 11-1 pm. The fair will feature several guests to help raise awareness about heart health and a healthy lifestyle. Our guests include Mindful Nourishment LLC , Author of Gut-Guide, Mari Hahn, Tracie Gentry with Melaleuca, LOAF

(Local Organic Affordable Foods), Massage By Rachel, as well as a Registered Nurse from Franciscan Alliance who will be doing free blood pressure screenings! You won’t want to miss this fun FREE event!

Our goal this February is to raise $300 just from our specialty classes in February but we KNOW with some M.O.M.s Love can raise more! Heart attacks are the number 1 killer of women! Let’s help learn about it, and get in better heart health!

Who do YOU workout for?
As a part of our campaign to raise $300 dollars for the American Heart Association, we are collecting Hearts in the M.O.M.s Method Studio. For a $5 donation (or by registering for one of our specially dedicated Healthy Heart Classes) you can dedicate your workout to someone you love. A parent, your kids, your best friend, someone who has motivated you, someone you want to motivate, yourself- anyone who inspires you to keep going. We want to cover the studio walls with these hearts, not only to raise money for a good cause, but also to remind us WHY we workout, WHY we learn to love the burn, and how important it is to keep going and to be our better selves! We love our Munchkins
We love our Munchkins and know you do to! We want M.O.M.s Munchkin Care room to be a fun, safe and educational environment for our munchkins of every age, so if you have any unused toys or craft items, please feel free to share the love and drop them off at M.O.M.s Method!
We know our munchkin’s love things like play dough, coloring books and markers and craft item like toilet paper rolls and empty boxes,  too! And if your own munchkins have any special crafts they want to do, feel free to share your ideas with a Munchkin Caregiver!

Weather Policy
We know how important your workout is to you, and will do everything possible to make sure the studio stays open so you can enjoy the burn at M.O.M.s all winter. However, our winter weather policy is as follows:
When Duneland schools are delayed in the morning, we will cancel our 8:30 AM class, but 9:45 AM and 6:00 PM classes will remain the same.
