Remember Yourself Too

Memorial Day is a time to remember and thank all those who sacrificed themselves for our beautiful country.  But I say the entire weekend in itself can also be a time for you to remember all your own personal sacrifices you make on a daily basis. Do you stay late at the office to help out a coworker? Do you wake up extra early to make breakfast for the family? Do you sacrifice your day off to help a friend move? Whatever it is that you do to help others, it makes you a better person. And it is okay to take Memorial Day Weekend to take care of yourself.  I am here to remind you that to “be your better self” you must also treat yourself. You deserve it! So this Memorial Day weekend, go ahead and remember all your personal sacrifices. Take the time to reward yourself for all that you have done for others, work, friends and family.
