Throw-Back Thursday…and a BIG CONGRATULATIONS!!
Five years ago, I opened this studio. I had a six week old, little Liza, by my side every minute. Five years later, she is an independent, vivacious, energetic, loving, artistic, caring little girl. She grew up at the studio and understands that mommy works. She understands that we eat healthy, so our bodies can grow and feel good. She understands we exercise so that we can be strong. Although she is not by my side every minute anymore, I would like to think we have influenced her (hopefully we continue to as she “matures”.) But I have to give her some credit too. She is a very creative child and very fun. She reminds me every day to be creative and fun as well. She reminds me also why we do what we do here at Barre + Beyond. She reminds me that no matter how I am feeling, it important to continue for her and for our family. But she is not the only one who reminds me to keep at it.
Two other people I want to credit. First, Ms. Elizabeth. Elizabeth was by side, helping me teach the 8 classes we started with. She is creative, but also level-headed. She is my sounding board and helped us grow to where we are today. She has influenced so many women along the way, and I can’t tell you how amazing it is to have a little Lyra in the studio just like I had Liza in the studio. That little girl will also understand the importance of eating well and exercising. It is so great to see and it gets me teary eyed thinking about it. Keep at it, Elizabeth, not just for all of us at Barre + Beyond but for you and your daughter. and a big thank you for being you!
Lastly, I would like to thank Julie B. You have been by my side from the beginning as well. You came to my Saturday class at the gym, followed me to the dance studio and you and your two amazing children were at our first class on January 14, 2014 in our Chesterton location. You continue to amaze me. You are a role model for me, for your Real Food Blends family, for your friends, for your family and for your children. You always do for others. But I love that no matter what, in between travel, meetings, appointments and family affairs, you make that time for yourself. You are showing your family how important it is to take time for yourself. Thank you for being by my side; for your continued support; for sharing barre love; for being you. I am so proud to take this time to congratulate you on reaching 1000 classes at Barre + Beyond. You are in our FOREVER CLUB and will forever be on our $99 VIP Unlimited and always getting a full outfit FREE in our annual fashion show! Thank you for your continued support! We love you! Congratulations to you!!
