Good luck to our Calla-Lily
Little did I know that when Calla walked into my home as a sweet, young girl with a killer smile, that she would turn out to be such a prominent fixture in all aspects of my life. Calla began helping me at the home with the last stages of pregnancy and saw me at my worst; bed rest, stressed and a mess. She helped me get back on my feet and was by my side as I prepared to open M.O.M.S {mind over matter studio}. When it was time to open the doors on January 14th 2014, Liza was only 6 weeks old and Calla easily transitioned to munchkin care. She was great with little babies like Liza all the way to the big kids, like Lana. The day I knew she would be an instructor was at our ribbon cutting ceremony. We smiled for the camera and Calla stood up straight, hand on her hip like a model, long neck like a ballerina; proud to be part of this fresh new barre studio. I could tell she wanted to be more than our munchkin care team; she wanted to be an instructor. On opposite days of working with the kids, Calla would take class and I saw her great form and understanding of the body. As M.O.M.S grew quickly, I knew she was ready for that step and we went through teacher training. Don’t let that smile and cute dimples fool you, Calla was tough!
“We smiled for the camera and Calla stood up straight, hand on her hip like a model, long neck like a ballerina; proud to be part of this fresh new fitness studio.”
Behind the scenes, Calla began to take on more of the proof reading and press releases, and when the right time came, she quickly took the title as marketing director and studio manager; not only answering the phones and helping you buy your gift certificates, but uploading all social media, blogs and newsletters.
From the time Calla started with me till today, she matured. She started as a cute girl with a killer smile to a mature determined young lady and now she is ready to make the move and make waves elsewhere in this world. Wherever life will lead her, I know she will be a success. I asked Calla what was the one thing she will miss and she said, “I will definitely miss all the beautiful strong women I have met at M.O.M.S.” We have a unique studio where women definitely bond and become a family. She continued about the one thing she will take away from her experience here;
“I learned about the importance of having goals and sticking with them from you (Orlee) and your goal to open the doors (to this studio) and the ladies here from and all their personal goals. If you set your mind on something you can do it.”

Good luck Calla, our Calla-Lily. We love you and send you all M.O.M.S love on your journey. We wish you all the best on this next stage of your life.
All M.O.M.S Love,
Orlee and your M.O.M.S Family
