M.O.M.s Method Client Spotlight: Machelle Blount
This month’s Client Spotlight here at M.O.M.s Method is on Chesterton’s very own Machelle- just look at those beautiful, toned arms! Owner of Chelle’s and the brand new Chelle’s 2 in downtown Chesterton, Machelle is an integral part of the Duneland community and was recently awarded the Indiana Dunes Tourism R.O.S.E (Recognition of Service Excellence) Award for Retailer of the Year. We are so happy that Machelle is a part of our M.O.M.s family, and are inspired nearly daily (that’s commitment!) by her dedication to the barre and the burn. We are so excited to share her story with you. Enjoy!
When did you first start taking M.O.M.s Method Classes?
I started in February right after your Grand Opening Celebration!
What got you “hooked” on M.O.M.s Method Classes?
After my first class I knew that it was something special and a workout I could not get anywhere else in NWI. I could feel myself building muscle in just a couple of classes and I loved it! I also love the atmosphere and the wide range of ages of women who take these classes. Which is another reason I love M.O.M.s, only women in class makes me much more comfortable!
Have you seen changes in your physique?
Yes, I have so much more muscle strength. I can see more definition in my shoulders, my core is stronger and my knees and thigh toning feels much better.
How often do you take class?
3-4 times a week right now because I have been so busy opening my second boutique in downtown Chesterton (Chelles 2) but now that it is open I am hoping I can make it 5 times a week.
Have you ever taken a barre class before M.O.M.s?
No, it was a first for me and I am so happy I tried it! I have walked and worked out at the gym for years but this is just different, it has become a habit for me!
Do you have any goals set for yourself in class?
I have never been very flexible even as a small child so it is something I would really like to improve. I think M.O.M.s classes can really help me with that because we stretch a lot in class. I have already met goals that I set for myself before. There were certain thigh exercises that I could not get through the first couple of classes, and now my thighs have so much more strength!
Congratulations Machelle! We are so proud that you take the time out of your busy schedule to dedicate to yourself- you deserve it! You truly work hard every day, in and out of the studio, to “be your better self” and are an inspiration to us all at M.O.M.s Method! Keep up the good work!
