Mind Over Matter Studio V.I.P Spotlight: Lindsay Trout

I recently sat down with Lindsay Trout, a teacher, wife and mother, and a regular fixture at Mind Over Matter Studio. Lindsay is one of our very first V.I.P.s, and she couldn’t be more important to us. After taking classes for nearly a year, including participating in holiday challenges and nights out like our M.O.M.s Mingle event, Lindsay immediatly knew she wanted to be a V.I.P. Lindsay says “I was at school and the email popped up and instantly I signed up. It was up, and I said that sounds like a great idea! It’s a really good deal, and you get a lot of benefits with that!” 

So let’s hear a little bit more about Lindsay and her story at Mind Over Matter Studio!

M.O.M.S: When did you start coming to Mind Over Matter Studio?

Lindsay: It was May 1st, actually, of last year. I saw the thing for M.O.M.s On the Go and starting coming. I love M.O.M.s on the go because I like the toning plus a little bit of cardio.

M.O.M.S: What got you hooked on M.O.M.s Method?

Lindsay: Well, I had no ab strength after having Luke. I don’t have the definition back yet, but I definitly have the strength back. As soon as I saw the changes I was just crazy about it.

M.O.M.S: So you have seen changes in your physique?

Lindsay: Oh, for sure! I’ve probably lost 10 pounds since I started here and I’ve done nothing with my diet, and really no cardio.

M.O.M.S: How often do you come to class?

Lindsay: I try to come 3 times a week.

M.O.M.S: Have you ever taken a Barre class before M.O.M.s Method?

Lindsay: No, but I’d seen a sample on popsugar and magazines.

M.O.M.S: Do you have any goals set for yourself in class?

Lindsay: To hold plank the entire time, and Chair!

M.O.M.S: What do you love about Mind Over Matter Studio?

Lindsay: It feels more like a group of friends than a workout place. All the intructors are great- Orlee has the dance backgroud, Calla has this soothing voice and I always feel relaxed leaving her classes, and Elizabeth gives a great workout, I was sore after Monday night! 

M.O.M.S: And how does it feel to be one of our very first V.I.P.s?

Lindsay: I like it! I feel special. The best part is the unlimited water- I’m super happy about that! And the massages are awesome, Rachel is really great!
