Introducing our October Client Spotlight: Jane Cooperman
We are so excited to introduce Jane Cooperman as our October Client Spotlight. At M.O.M.S Method, we pride ourselves on listening to our clients, and Jane is a perfect example of this- we have just implemented one of her suggestions, so you can thank Jane for our new Student & Senior Discount policy! Jane is a Tai Chi instructor at East Wind Studio in Chesterton, and has said that M.O.M.s not only helps her feel good, but also helps with her practice of Tai Chi. Jane has only been part of our M.O.M.s family since July, but we already look forward to seeing her (in her favorite spot!) in the studio and working with her to modify M.O.M.S moves to make sure she gets the maximum benefit of every class.
M.O.M.S: When did you first start taking M.O.M.s Method Classes?
Jane: I first started a couple of months ago
M.O.M.S: What got you “hooked” on M.O.M.s Method Classes?
Jane: Well initially I didn’t like class at all, and I thought after most classes that I would actually throw up. But what ended up happening over time was that I really began to enjoy the camaraderie and the instruction, and slowly I felt myself getting stronger. Now I love coming for all of those reasons!

M.O.M.S: Have you seen changes in your physique?
Jane: Yes, but more importantly I feel better. I feel stronger, I have fewer aches and pains and I feel that the soft tissue around my joints is getting stronger, which is what I need as I get older.
M.O.M.S: How often do you take class?
Jane: I take classes twice a week.
M.O.M.S: Have you ever taken a barre class before M.O.M.s?
Jane: No, I had never even heard of barre classes before!
M.O.M.S: Do you have any goals set for yourself in class?
Jane: My goal for the class is just to continue doing it. This is something that I know I need and certainly most people as they get a little bit older need to continue to strengthen their bodies, because if you don’t use it you loose it!

Jane: I would like to say that I’ve been delighted with the acceptance of all of the teachers, and all of their help. When everyone hits the floor to do pushups, I do them against the wall, which is just fine with everyone. I encourage people who need modifications to ask for them. All of the instructors all well trained and engaged in wanting everyone, of every age and every level, to start to strengthen themselves and feel better!
M.O.M.S: Exactly! We can modify any move for any level, and we want to help you Be Your Better Self no matter what your age or what your fitness level is. All we can tell you is Keep Going!
