Men at the Barre?

Men at the barre? At M.O.M.s {Mind over Matter Studio}, our goal is to inspire women to feel comfortable to raise the “barre” and build not only physical strength but also mental strength; a strength that carries into daily life. But the fitness technique itself, is not just for women.

“It may be difficult for men to feel the “pelvic floor” muscles but that doesn’t mean that barre is only for women.”

The strength required in a barre class will be a great cross trainer for those lifters, runners, TRX-ers and Cross-Fitters. Planks, push-ups, squats and those small “isometric” movements will make anyone feel the burn.  The positions coupled with the small movements are unique  and ones that cannot be found in other workouts.  So calling all Men! When we say, pull in the pelvic floor muscles, just tuck your pelvis and squeeze! We’ve had such of overwhelming response from our Bring Your Beau to the Barre Events last year, that we now have THREE chances for men to come this month of June to see what we’re doing here at M.O.M.s {Mind Over Matter Studio}. Men can come solo or as a couple so don’t be shy. Come and experience that “burn”  that you’re that will be so good for you!

All workshops are $16 single or $30/couple
